Your Choice Barnet
Your Choice Barnet required a brand refresh that modernised its visual presence while remaining accessible, clear, and familiar to the community it serves. The aim was evolution, not reinvention.

Your Choice Barnet
2024
Challenge:
The existing identity felt dated and inconsistent across digital platforms. Communication lacked visual cohesion, making the information harder to engage with and reducing overall impact.
The difficulty was refreshing the brand without alienating its audience. It needed to feel improved, not replaced.
Clarity, inclusivity, and trust had to remain at the centre of every decision.

Strategy:
I approached the project by strengthening the fundamentals.
By refining typography, colour relationships, and layout, I aimed to create a more contemporary expression of the organisation while preserving its recognisability.
The priority was to make communication easier to absorb and more engaging across all touchpoints.
Process:
I began by understanding how different members of the community interacted with the organisation and what they needed from its communications.
From there, I developed a clearer visual system built around:
legible and approachable typography
a controlled, confident colour palette
consistent layout patterns
improved hierarchy for key information
Once the foundation was in place, I translated it into practical tools for everyday use. This included adaptable templates and simplified guidance that would allow the internal team to produce materials confidently while maintaining consistency.
Every element was designed to support longevity and ease of use.

Outcome:
Your Choice Barnet now presents itself with greater clarity and professionalism across its platforms.
Information is easier to navigate, messages feel more engaging, and the organisation maintains a stronger, more unified presence while still feeling approachable to its audience.
Reflection:
This project reinforced that successful rebrands are often about refinement rather than dramatic change.
By modernising structure and improving consistency, it is possible to elevate perception while preserving trust.
