Challenge:

Élan Hair needed a visual identity that felt premium and modern while still being flexible enough for social media, marketing, and future digital growth.

The existing visuals lacked cohesion, making it harder for the brand to stand out in a competitive market.

Approach:

My approach was to establish clarity before decoration.

I focused on building a strong visual foundation rooted in hierarchy, restraint, and intentional design decisions.
The objective was to create a system where every touchpoint, from logos to daily social content, would feel unmistakably connected.

Consistency without monotony became the guiding principle.

Process:

I began by defining the audience and mapping how the brand should be perceived within the premium hair space.
This informed tone, visual weight, and the level of sophistication required.

From there, I developed the core identity:

  • refined typography

  • controlled colour relationships

  • structured spacing

  • a recognisable brand rhythm

Once the foundation was established, I translated it into a flexible social framework.

Rather than producing isolated posts, I created reusable templates, layout rules, and simplified brand guidance that enabled ongoing content creation while protecting visual integrity.

Every decision prioritised scalability, ensuring the brand could expand output, collaborate, and evolve without losing coherence.

Outcome:

This project reinforced how structure creates freedom. By investing in foundational clarity early, Élan Hair now has the flexibility
to grow, experiment, and scale without diluting its brand perception.

Reflection:

Élan Hair launched with a unified, elevated identity that performs consistently across digital platforms.

The system reduced friction in day-to-day content creation while maintaining a polished and intentional presence.
