Sherlock Quarter Birmingham

2026

Challenge:

Property marketing often focuses heavily on apartment interiors and specifications, making it difficult for developments to differentiate themselves. The challenge was to create a campaign that shifted the conversation from simply renting a home to experiencing the lifestyle, community and culture surrounding Sherlock Quarter.

Approach:

Property marketing often focuses heavily on apartment interiors and specifications, making it difficult for developments to differentiate themselves. The challenge was to create a campaign that shifted the conversation from simply renting a home to experiencing the lifestyle, community and culture surrounding Sherlock Quarter.

Process:

The project began with research into competing residential developments and their visual communication. I explored how lifestyle-led messaging could create stronger emotional engagement before developing campaign concepts, refining the creative direction and adapting the visual system across multiple marketing channels to demonstrate a cohesive customer journey.

Outcome:

This project strengthened my ability to think strategically beyond individual assets by developing a campaign that balanced creativity with commercial objectives. It also reinforced the importance of designing flexible visual systems that remain consistent across digital, print, environmental branding and motion, while adapting to the requirements of each platform.

Reflection:

The final concept successfully demonstrated how a single creative idea can scale across multiple touchpoints while maintaining a consistent visual identity. The campaign positioned Sherlock Quarter as more than a residential development, presenting it as a connected urban community and modern lifestyle destination.
